Press Reviews
URB Magazine (July/August 2000) had this to say about DJ Space Ace's "The Dirty Disco Muthafucka EP""David Mitchell aka DJ Space Ace is off to a flying start with this disco four-tracker on his new label, and more than 20 dates scheduled for PAs throughout the US this summer. 'Organized Crime' is a oerky, feel-good number that plays with a funky organ line and chorus. Very summer and great for a patio or rooftop party. The biggest track, 'Soul Sonic Groove' is a perfect example of four-on-the-floor modern drum house and is easy to like. The other selections, 'Supa Fly' and 'Summertime at the Playground' are quite old-school in feel, and play well with material from the likes of Roy Davis Jr. or DJ Sneak" |
