Music Style
The name's DjSkweak, a foul mouthed, beer swilling Keith Prodidgy look alike. I spend most of my time doing remixes, hell, it's a living. Some people collect stamps. Others go door to door killing people. I remix. So there. My musical style is unique, trust me on this. I cover all types of Hard, Psychadellic, Melodic, Deep and Goa Trance, Club, Euro Dance, Hard House, Deep House. Fuck it - you name it, I mix it. Give me any fucking sample and I'll filter, cut, stream and fix it until it's a thing of fucking beauty. And if you don't believe me then ask anyone I'm linked with, or check out the comments bit on the left hand side of my page. But the best way to check my style is to find out for yourself. So go on, have a gander, see what you think. Hell, you just might like it... |

Musical Influences
Wildchild (Rest In Peace), Fatboy Slim, The Prodidgy, Binary Finary, Verrochia and so on. I do any old shit really, just so long as it's loud and fast. And a bit on the extreme. Oh yeah, Guns N' Roses are fucking amazing too. |

Artist History
I'm fast heading for the 6 month milestone at MP3.com, and in this short time, I've got 4 of my tracks into the top #40 of their genre. The high point being when my track 'Heatwave' made it's way to #1 in the Club charts and #1 in the overall Dance charts. For someone with a burned out set of belt driven decks and an under powered PC, you've got to admit that's pretty impressive. My tracks are on over 150 stations on MP3.com, which makes my shit more played than The Offspring, Madonna, Ice - T and David Bowie. So on reflection, the first 6 months have been pretty fucking good thus far. Imagine where I'll be in another 6 months... |

Press Reviews
"I saw this man live. He scares me. His music, the way he screams at the crowd. The man is like an unchained psychopath. The best thing of all is that I actually enjoyed it... The song he played was the one he calls 'Noise.' But he sped it up a little more and added a Hard House style beat to it... The crowd went wild - he had them in the palm of his hand..." Jim Waller from 'Grind Magazine' which sadly went bust in October. |
