Artist History Cantankerous is a digital project started by Ashley Williams a guitarist and chemical engineer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joined by Barry Sebastian, blues and jazz guitarist, the two have been breaking new ground in producing heart felt music in a new digital age. Cantankerous has become a means of composing instrumental music on the PC, integrating wonderful lush textural sounds with traditional playing styles. The result is indeed, Cantankerous. Our music has been characterized as refreshing and non-categorical. That makes it really hard to find a place to share the music, thus this web presence. Cantankerous is blues, jazz and film music all combined into one.
