Artist History YUNI has been challenging stereotypes since she first arrived to the United States at the age of seven from South Korea. Classically trained on piano, Yuni has matured into a talent who is truly unique in the field of popular music . . . . This tiny, long-black haired performer takes and audience by surprise when they first see her. But in moments, they are captivated by her talent, engaging personality, and performance ability . . . . Since embarking on her solo rock career, Yuni's "DisOriental" CD has received critical accolades while enjoying steady sales. One of her songs placed in the Top 50 Best Rock Songs out of 13,000 entries in the John Lennon song writing contest. "DisOriental" also made NUVO's (popular Indiana newsweekly) Top Ten CD's of the Year List . . . . The outcome is her current rock project MEME.
