Artist History
After a year of running into each other at parties and shows and suggesting they play together,Bill Horist and DJ J-Justice finally made some noise one Sunday afternoon in Seattle. That first practice led to their first gig, originally billed as Bill Horist vs. DJ J-Justice, at Club I-Spy in Seattle in March 2000. The two performers rode the line between danger and beauty for a solid hour and the audience was astounded. That succesful show gave birth to TABLET. An improvised experiment in groove and sound. |

Press Reviews
Bill Horist's "Songs from the Nerve Wheel" -- "This is noise with feeling, strangely tender and completely mesmerizing." **** SEATTLE WEEKLY“more in terms of its limitations than its capabilities, BILL HORIST [explores] the guitar’s continued presence as a vital and still challenging form of musical expression.” (Willamette Week-May, 1998) |
