Artist History In spring 1998, Plate & Dr. Rectangle first joined forces in a small town in South Dakota, taunting radio-listeners with the opposite of their typical, cozy Top-40 music. In February 1999, Berkeley-based LUVeR opened its loving arms to the musical duo and allowed them to sing about poop and pee on their own ad-free show. Then the show ended.

Group Members Plate simultaneously plays guitar with one hand, bass with the other hand, wind instruments with his mouth, and many keyboards with his feet (and butt!); sometimes he lends vocals, too. Dr. Rectangle sings and sometimes plays guitar, bass, keyboards, wind instruments, Pringles can and little drums.
