Artist History The Jovian System was founded in January of 2001 in Palm Desert, California, by Ryan Finegan, Richard Sanchez, Steve Bolt and Doug Clawson. They began writing songs together immediately, mixing upbeat rock with great hooks and a flair for the melodic. The band's initial mission was to create an effective, engaging live show, and they worked very hard to get a tight set together. With a sizeable batch of songs written and performed for their local audience, they decided the studio was the next step. So they booked time at Westbeach Recorders in Hollywood with engineer Donnell Cameron (Sublime, Milencolin), pooling together their resources to record the five songs they thought would best display their talents while simultaneously revealing their songwriting range. They are currently in the midst of shopping around their demo, which should lead to a release and extensive touring in support of their product.
