Dennis C. Latham, a seasoned Musician and Producer, has been practicing his passion for music for 28 years. He is a master pianist/organist. Other musical instruments he has mastered through midi programming include the drums, bass, strings. Horns and many more. Dennis has a unique style of music. He has a special touch when it comes to laying tracks. Many veteran bass players have studied his unique flavor of bass lines. The talents of Dennis Latham not only include bass lines. He also has great horn licks and string lines too. Dennis is not limited in his music. Although Gospel music is his favorite, he writes in all genres; Country, Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, Blues, and Jazz to mention a few. Dennis has played with various bands including Style Band, Bobby Moore & the Rhythms Aces, Legacy, and Jeff Golden. He's sat in with Marvin Sease, Little Milton, Charlie Brown and many more. Presently Dennis resides in Montgomery, Alabama, where he has 2 recording studios. Because of his passion for music, he has created a collection of original music. Dennis also is in search of songwriters, vocalists, and other artists for collaboration. His dream is to create music for the world's enjoyment. Dennis C. Latham is also an experienced webmaster. Artist History
Dennis C. Latham was born in Syracuse, New York to Charlie W. and Lucille Latham. He started piano lessons at the age of 8 with Daisy J. Sherrill. Within 6 months, Dennis was playing for his church, Bethany Baptist in Syracuse, NY. When he was 16, under the instruction of Parris Morgan, Chief Engineer of the local PBS station, Dennis became knowledgeable about mixing consoles and studio functions. At the age of 19, Dennis was the master keyboard player for a local band called Ultimate Touch. Ultimate Touch released two singles titled "Finer Things" and "On the Spot". The song "On The Spot" sold well over 500,000 copies. Dennis moved to Montgomery, Alabama at the age of 23 to become the Minister of Music for True Divine Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery. Since Dennis has been in Montgomery, Alabama he has broadened his musical experiences and endeavors. |
