Press Reviews
1) Aiding & Abetting says, "...There's a nice core of talent here...the songs all have nice depth...sounds something like a cross between the B-52s and R.E.M..."
2) Tourdates.com says, "...A lot of college bands claim to be influenced by "early REM," one of the most popular influences on college rock music. But Where's Moo actually pulls off this frequently-made comparison and they do it well, but with their own quirky twist. Their sound ranges from jangly pop rock, to slower, more melodic songs."
3) The Valencia Source says, "The Performance was nothing short of great. Mangum jumped around the stage and sang to the passerby's through the large window next to the stage...even stood up on a bar stool as he sang...Horvath, a bombshell in a band of all guys, got the attention of every male that walked by the window of the bar..."
4) Ink 19 says, "...As the crowd weighed in at its heaviest, local freak-popsters Where's Moo attacked the stage with a punk-approved verve...Bassist John Wagner and drummer Brad Fries join Horvath in creating a tight and none-too-tidy assault of college-fla vored pop-rock that borders on the edge of artiness. But it's frontman Michael Mangum who arrests the eyes as he spins, twirls, leaps, falls, emotes, flails..."
