Artist History
The band was born about 20 years ago. Frank, Jos, Johan and Jan played popular covers from those days. But slowly country music creeped into their lives, so why not play country music? After a couple of successfull years of playing at festivals and country danceparty's, they've decided to look for a female singer. They met Diana who plays piano and now also sings a couple of songs in the Renegades. In March 1998 they recorded their very first demo with 'The Losing side of me' (The Maverics), 'No-one needs to know' (Shania Twain) and 'The Dance' (Garth Brooks). Their second demo, recorded in july 1999, contains two self written songs: 'Right now' (D. Kartojudo) and 'Those Words I won't say' (D. Kartojudo). It also contains two covers: 'Don't come crying to me' (Vince Gill), 'Old one better' (Tracy Byrd). Since then, they try to touch people's hearts with the songlyrics or get people dance like crazy with the country rock rhythms!!!!! |
