Artist History
Started in the Summer of 1976 after seeing the Ramones and The Quick at the legendary Starwood nightclub in Hollywood, The Rage lasted for a year. Paula went on to play guitar with The Direct Hits, Action Now and, finally sing lead and play guitar in The Pandoras. These are the first recordings Paula Pierce ever played on and this is their first public availability. Don Williams went on to write songs with Paula for Action Now, and with Kelly and Kristi Callan of Wednesday Week. Sue and Robin retired from music after The Rage. Unlike many teenaged bands, there was no adult supervision for The Rage. Even the producer of these songs, Bill Inglot (of Rhino Records fame), was a teenager at the time of the recording. Bill went on to produce the Pandoras' "Stop Pretending" album years later. |
