Artist History
PRESENTING:STORMY BLUESTORMY BLUE was born in Chicago, Illinois. Being a natural-born performer, he began his careeras a singer at the age of sixteen — doo-wopping with the likes of Marshall of the Chi-Lites on the streetsof Chicago. He was next found on the writing staffwith Donny Hathaway and Brad Bobo under the tutelageof Curtis Mayfield. STORMY BLUE then wrote songs with Billy Butler andJames Bloomingfield for Jerry Butler. For a short time he was also on the writing staff ofBrunswick Records. Having worked for Curtis Mayfield as a writer, STORMY BLUE recorded “Psychedelic Soul” on the Curtom Label. He then recorded for Archie Lee Hill Productions under Hillery Johnson.STORMY BLUE toured Italy, Greece, Sicily and Crete.He headlined the Cree Cree Club on the Island of Crete,and the Crater Club in Sicily.STORMY BLUE also did various Italian television withKenny Dexter.STORMY BLUE sang all the songs and wrote 50% of thesongs on this CD.
