Artist description Scott Strauss is what music was meant to be. Armed with his 12-string guitar and his unique voice, Scott's music evokes thoughts and memories of hopes, dreams, loves won and lost, and pieces of everyday life. Pinning down Scott's musical genre can prove to be a difficult task. While pop/rock may seem a suitable enough title, many of Scott's tunes are also definitely within the ranks of country, hard rock, folk, and there's even a gospel tune or two in there. On stage, he's every artist you've ever loved. "I take a little bit from every artist I ever see," Scott says. "I think my music and my performances are the complete combination of all of them." His stage shows bring even more to enjoy, as his ever-changing songlist can include covers from The Stones to Elvis to "pick any glam-rock band from the 80s." "My favorite thing to do with covers," Scott says, "is to dust off an old tune everyone forgot about, and remind them how much they still love it." Scott is proud to include himself in the ever-growing ranks of artists who are part of the renaissance of the singer-songwriter.
