Artist History Nkeng began performing and writing songs when he was 13. In his sophomore year in college, he returned to song-writing, and soon after began performing in the Richmond, VA area where he attended college, majoring in Chemistry. Having lived in Cameroon, in Canada (the first few years of his life)and in the US, Nkeng has been exposed to a wide range of very diverse genres of music, and has adopted an intrigueing, soulful style of singing and writing, whose originality is hard to miss.
