    Composer, producer, remixer and arranger Igor Len works out of his home studio - ThinkTank Productions.Using an elaborate electronic setup he produces eclectic instrumental music as well as soundtracks and remixes.

    Artist History
    Igor Len, pianist and composer, began studying piano at the age of four. In 1986 he graduated from the renowned Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a Masters Degree in Classical Piano. During Igor's academic years, he actively participated in a life of Moscow's underground music and art. From 1980 to 1987 Igor worked on several projects at Moscow’s Studio of Experimental Electronic Music, that produced numerous soundtracks for Russia's top movie directors such as A. Tarkovsky and N. Michalkov. He also wrote a soundtrack for Gorky Film Studio's release RETURNING - a full feature film by director Rein Liblick. From 1987 to 1990, Igor Len played keyboards forRussia's leading rock band Dynamic, selling over3 million copies per album and having toured Europe, Asia, and the United States. Dynamic participated in concerts with such artists as B.Raitt, J.Tailor, T.Dolby, B.Adams, C.Santana, Doobie Brothers etc. In 1989 a record company Melodia Records released Igor's solo album entitled HERE. This was the first ambient album to be released in the Soviet Union, it has sold over 250,000 copies. In 1990 Igor relocated to the United States. At that time, Keyboard Magazine's issue of May 1990 stated, that Igor Len was voted 3rd best keyboardist by a nationwide poll in the Soviet Union for the year of 1989. Shortly after, he composed the soundtrack to the ballet KYOTO WALLS, performed by the San Diego Ballet Company at Lyceum Theatre in San Diego. He has also written numerous scores for Network Music based in San Diego, California, as well as the soundtrack for an independent feature film release THIS GUN FOR HIRE by Lerrad Productions. In 1996 Igor collaborated as a composer, arranger and keyboardist with guitarist Neal Schon (C.Santana Band, Journey) for his 1997 solo album, ELECTRIC WORLD, released on Higher Octave Records. "Midnight Express," one of the tracks off this album, was chosen by Virgin Records for the 1997 CD compilation, INSTRUMENTAL MOODS, along with other artists such as Eric Serra, Massive Attack and Enigma. In 1998 Igor worked as a keyboardist with the band Ruby Diver for their independent release SUPERREMOTE on Turftone Records. Igor was also invited to remix and produce several tracks from this album. "Station Mir Mix," the remix of the track entitled "Mission to Mars," is included on the album SUPER REMOTE. This remix was chosen for airtime by several major radio stations such as KPFK (Los Angeles), 91X (San Diego), Y107 (Los Angeles) and KNSX (St.Louis), receiving great public acclaim.Some of his most recent projects include remixes for Hottracks, an Oklahoma-based remix production company, for artists such as Soul Solution (Jellybean Records), London Suede (Nude/Columbia), Linda Eder (Atlantic Records) and Everything But The Girl (Atlantic Records).Current project - MUSIC FOR MOTION PICTURES - is a web-album featuring some of his latest works, that were derived, directly composed or simply inspired by the world of motion pictures.
