Artist History Norwegian band influenced by melodic hard rock andprogressive metal. The band started in 1992 under the name "Atlantis" and released a demo under this name in 1993. The demo received good critics in the norwegian heavymagazine "Scream".Changed their name to "Contradicion In Terms" in 1995 and released another demo, with a more progressive style to the music. The band split up in 1995 due to musical differences.In the fall of 1999 the band got together again, this time with a new drummer. Changed name to Emerald and released the demo "Stargazer" in april of 2000.The bands members has a wide range of inspirations that contribute to a deversified sound.
