Artist History
Barney studied classical piano from an early age though high schook where he got started, as a keyboard player and vocalist, with some other friends - Greg Gostomski (guitars), Jim Helou (bass), Jeff Wright (guitars) and John Dicky (drums) in a rock / blues band. The group disbanded once they went to colleges across the US (though they remained friends). Barney and Greg continued to work together during their college years and co-wrote several of the songs on the Exnihilo album. He learned to play guitar after his girlfriend (now wife) bought one for him on his birthday his sophomore year. Unfortunately, upon graduation, Barney's proffession as an automotive engineer took him from the Detroit area to Columbia Missouri where he continues to compose and record independently. |
