Artist description
From the twisted undermining of a bastardized society rose ballarat 60. This union consists of five members: Morris, Liger, Rain, Zach and Jared, all banding together to form the anthem for the new social outcasts. Don't get us wrong, we are indeed a band whose primary concern is your entertainment and allegiance, but we like to think that we support the members of our society that comprise our beloved sub-culture. Our music has been classified by some as an attack of techno/industrial angst, embedded upon a structure of unique percussive rhythms and vehement guitar work. Others have latched onto the power ascertained by having both a male and a female lead singer in order to add a new emphasis to the voice of the band. Yet still, a few just like to listen to ballarat 60 to hear the unusual and creative synthesized textures and samples that can be found beneath the structure of each of the songs. Come, we implore you, to expose yourself to the varied styles of our music. Be it, an energy empowered thrust of compositional frenzy or a hypnotic/emotive opus that soothes the savage soul. Besides, you have to hear for yourself the embittered/prophetic lyrics in our music that are solely designed to slap all bastards in the face whilst giving praise to the few who share the stigma that we possess. The stigma of just being cool and not an ass. |
