Artist description
Terry T. is a solo artist. He is now officially a "Touch Guitarist". The instrument is a 10 string Austin Douglas Guitar. It's a new approach of playing a string instrument where the strings are tapped rather than strummed like an ordinary guitar. With both bass strings and melody strings on the same neck, it is possible to play both bass part and rhythm part and solo part all at the same time on the same neck with both hands. Compositions on the touch guitar will be posted soon please check back often, or add yourself to his mailing list to be updated on new things. He's also a guitarist and songwriter bring a new technology of guitar synthesis to a new light. Looping is also another feature of the artist in the quest of experimentation and improvisation. Terry T. was also influenced by blues, jazz, and folk music. For the past 10 years, his music illustrates his ongoing exploration in many possibilities, styles and craft of guitar playing. |
