Artist History
U.Fx was created on the 5th of August, 1998 by Dave Kiernan. Flashforward to December, 1999 when the U.Fx ideal was finally realized with the 13 minute fusion epic and local groovin' hit, "Takin' Down The House", later released as a 6 minute funkier edit. After releasing a collection of demo tracks and their remixes under the title "Assault From The Underground", which met with quite a demand, Liquid X keeps evolving past their simple home instrument noodlings with sound. On October 5th, U.Fx did their first live show which was regarded as "ass kicking". |

Press Reviews
White Wing Fear - As of late, the 'Electronica/Techno' Underground has been flooded with POSERS with crappy cuts, who think that because they have a drum machine, they are the next Orbital. They are the ones who ruin it for legit artists like Liquid X. His album, "Assault From The Underground", was filled with original beats and ideas, that quite frankly, blew my mind. Liquid X storms all your emotions at full force, kicks them around, and makes you feel his pain. All of a sudden the track changes, and you're grooving and wanting to jump around and yell at the top of your lungs. Bottom line: if you like a roller coaster album of the senses, strap yourself in, wait for the bar to lower, and crank the bass. This one is a mother. |
