Artist History I live and breathe for the creative process of music... I will not accept that an artist should be locked down and pigeonholed into only playing one type of music... fuck that - if I'm feeling sad and mellow, then that's what I write. If I'm feeling rockabilly, maybe R&B, maybe in-your-fucking-face RAW then that's exactly what I'll play..... fuck the system and their shameless assembly-line labeling & marketing of artists as if we were a goddamn car or something that will lose it's value over time. The sad part is that after all this time, they've got many of us convinced that they're right... but I sense that a change is coming that will drop those greedy, disgusting fat cats to their knees and bring new hope to those of us with art in our souls who do this because we love it and we have no choice... because to quit is to die......(cue violins and swell the orchestra to a tear jerking crescendo) wow - that was deep.........and totally disgusting.
