Artist description Jimmy Cris was born on a farm in the rolling hills of Greenwich in upstate NY. Soon after high school his longing for adventure brought him to Boston where he entertained the people of the Northeast with his Country/Rock sounds. Jimmy has performed on literally thousands of stages. Throughout his years he's performed up and down the east coast, at fairs, festivals, high schools, colleges, and nightclubs. During this time he also produced his debut CD. It garnered rave reviews, and received substantial airplay. This allowed him to showcase at several high profile festivals to huge crowds. As Jimmy's life progressed, his songwriting became more focused and he realized that he had to move to a songwriting hub in order to take the next step in his career. Jimmy said goodbye to his family & friends, and moved to Nashville to pursue his goals. His style is both contemporary & traditional, and showcases Jimmy's unique voice ands hot guitar playing.
