Artist description Fred Raulston started marking his mark on the national and international jazz scenes in 1979 with the release of his album "Open Stream" on Inner City Records. That same year Inner City Records was awarded "Jazz Label of the Year". Within 2 years he had been spotlighted along with fellow vibist Bobby Hutcherson in Downbeat Magazine's critics poll as talent deserving wider recognition. Inner City released his second album "Uncharted Waters" in 1981.
