Artist History
Between 1992 and 1995, Chris Saunders, Rob Irwin & Ben Holt were involved in numerous jam sessions; many of which were recorded (badly) using between one and four microphones and a cheap four-track mixer (not to be confused with a four-track recorder!!!). Courtesy Lady is the name most attributed to the three guys recording together, which is why it is used to cover these songs. As you can tell, we didn't take our name, or our music, too seriously. We were in it for fun and, although we are now seperated by distance, still are. |

Additional Info
There are some *great* Courtesy Lady recordings that will, unfortunately, never see the light of day on this site as they are cover versions. These include an extremely trippy version of "All I Want Is You"; most of the Beatles back catalogue done punk-style and an original set of lyrics done to the tune of "Eleanor Rigby" called "Eleanor Indie Chick." If you have any interest in hearing these--and other--cover versions, drop us an e-mail! |
