Artist description
These 100% self-taught musicians are talented, creative, and energetic. You may like the music you hear, but you'll LOVE the show you see when they play. They get totally into it. Music is their way to channel out everything negative in their life. They hold nothing back in their live performance. Also, they are all really cool and great looking. hahaha |

Music Style
Regardless of what the songs on this site sound like, we write and play mostly heavy, pounding music. |

Artist History
Formed in the summer of 1998, the original 3 members (Jake, Matt, Phil) were friends in school, and decided to start jamming together. A definite musical bond was formed and the 3 started writing music. They were known as XARCOS. On Saturday, April 3rd, 1999, Wes Parrish joined the band as lead vocalist. The 4 soon changed their name to LIQUID (suggested by Joe Tacosik). On Friday, May 14, 1999, Adam Jackson joined the band as a second guitarist. After missing practice repeatedly and having conflicting musical interests, on Sunday, June 6, 1999, Adam was asked to leave the band. In late June of 1999, Dusty Carpenter joined the band as drummer. The band changed their name back to XARCOS around that time. On July 13th, 1999, Matt Abel decided to take an indefinite break from the band. On September 28, 1999 a decision was made to ask Wes to leave the band. After giving Wes another chance, the band realized that he wasn't going to get any better, and he wasn't going to change his attitude at all, so they canned him once and for all. The band wishes him luck in whatever he does. After an extensive but unhelpful search for a replacement vocalist, the band grew tired of being without a singer, so Jake took over the role of lyricist/vocalist. After that short period of uncertainty about the band's future, Jake decided to leave the band, as things were getting too hectic. In fall of 2000, Xarcos called it quits, and Dusty and Phil moved to Columbus to pursue possibilities in that region. Since then, Phil has returned and the heart of Xarcos may beat once again. |
