Artist History
In 1998, Songwriter/producer Fred St-Gelais decided to get away from his habit of spending forever in the studio for each of his productions. He came up with the concept of producing a complete album in 100 hours. He named his "virtual band" after the first song he wrote for the project, "I Wanna Be Extraordinary".

Press Reviews
"WannaBe X" is a Somewhat new Canadian Band, but there is
a different concept behind this one! See 24 year old Frederic,
Wrote/Sang/Produced and plays all the instruments to his songs!
Now is that talent or what?! The songs are a mixed combination
of Rock/Pop. There is not a cd out yet, but there is a web-site
for you to check out... just visit wannabex.faithweb.com
. Theres lots of stuff there on Canadian Native Fred, So
Take a look!! I say. . . if you like the following bands... SWiRL
360, David Usher, John Mellencamp, Everclear, and GooGooDolls,
then you'll Absolutely love the melodic music and Sweet-Raw-Voice
of WannaBe X ! -M.Valentine, NeXt GeN-oNLiNe.
