Artist History System der Dinge is the discussion of existence, music as creative way of expression. The name of the band expresses that the world does not consist of isolated objects but as a system of coherences, which are as important as the essence of things itself. In their lyrics System der Dinge deal with the relation of the inner world with the outside reality. The conclusion is to percept oneself as unique and responsible. Since the release of their first demo tape in 1992 System der Dinge have followed their way and developed their own style. Beside the highly noticed tape "Das zweite Gesicht" the band appeared on several CD compilations. Their sound creates an intense fusion of modern sounds and rhythms with classic elements of dark electro. On stage System der Dinge impress with a powerful appearance. During their existence they formed their own remarkable style with live drums and guitar. Apart from the regular concerts, performances in the range of ambient soundscapes are also a part of their work.
