Artist description
We want to play what we like. Whatever feels right and combines elements of spontineity
with considered arrangements, a main goal is to draw from any and every source possible
to create a sound that is consistant, surprising, and fun. Shows where you can boogie are
ones that people can lose themselves in, and that kind of energy is contagious. But you can't
have all the fun, and not bring it down sometimes with some mellow grooves. Lately, when asked that
age-old question of "what do you guys sould like?" I tell people like their moms. |

Artist History
A squadren of storks dropped some sticky bundles on the collective doorstep of the midwest, and produced four semi-grown infants who found sound to be a rightious discovery. When Chris's Great, great grandfather came over from Czechoslavakia back around the turn of the 1900's, he made boots to pay his way. |

Press Reviews
"Katnapping is a band capable of making a bluesy pop tune seem as natural and as tangible as that blanket we used to carry around when we were younger. They have a way of structuring songs and lyrics so that they seep into the system and wrap themselves around the warmest part of you." -Todd Lunneborg, editor of "The Monkey Mess," St. Olaf's music magazine"He's [Chris Koza] a really strong lyricist; he's also got a dual groove thing happenin' with his voice and guitar, it's cool." -J.G. Everest of the Sensational Joint Chiefs
