Artist History
Billions has no history. In their most basic intents, Zero and Sonic are here to create. Struggling to be constantly anew. Look for new tracks from monthly compiled sessions throughout 1998-2002. The Vending Machine CD was originally released right here on mp3.com back in the early days with original encoding done by the funky offices at mp3.com in San Diego. Billions of Hot Machines in its roots is strangely bible belt blues guitar influenced (Zero; TX and OK and London pub scene) and techno-rave influenced(Sonic; Cleveland, Southern Cal). That album has branded the band as nominally electronica and perhaps more specifically, experimental post-rock, a direct result of the impossibility to pinpoint the sound in the musical spectrum existing at present. With that, however, the strange brew have found themselves to be in a unique position. But there is still no history. |
