Artist History
Victor Labenske is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University of San Diego, California. He earned his Masters Degree in piano performance in 1987 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Conservatory of Music. In May 1993, he completed the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in piano performance at the University of Southern California. He has been honored with such distinctions as playing in the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Olympic games. His publications include piano collections, WE BELIEVE and KEYS TO PRAISE (both with companion CDs) and a collection for voice and piano, CONCERT HALL SPIRITUALS. Dr. Labenske, now professor of music for PLNU, teaches class piano, private piano and Music History. Victor and his wife, soprano, Judith Spaite Labenske, frequently perform in sacred concerts in churches throughout the USA. |
