Artist History
By 29 years old, Robert Reilly traveled and worked everywhere from Istanbul to Los Angeles. He spent time as both an amateur boxer and professional rock climber before he settled in London to work on his music. In 1990, Robert Reilly's developing singer/songwriter style caught the attention of producer Robin Millar (Sade, Fine Young Cannibals, Everything But the Girl). Robert recorded a record with his band for Millar's own label that was released in Great Britain, Australia, and New Zealand.Throughout 1991/92 Robert toured the Southeastern United States as the supporting act for Capitol Recording Artist "Walk the West". While in Nashville Robert played and recorded with Bernie Leadon (The Eagles, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Hiatt). He then gravitated toward the Northeast where a new band Fire Tribe/78 West was formed and the next three years were spent playing venues throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Massachusetts.During 1996/97 Robert continued to write and record while performing at events such as The North By Northeast Music Conference in Toronto, Canada and The Philadelphia Music Conference. During the winter of 1997/98 Robert's new band, The Robert Reilly Band was formed and have since recorded, "In Absence Of Reason" and "Sometime Now." |

Press Reviews
"From the first note of the first song, The Robert Reilly Band had my attention. Reilly's voice is captivating, strong and emotional. The writing soars above most of what I hear on radio. No doubt about it, this young man is going places."----Karen E. Reynolds, Writer's Block, WDVX, Clinton, TN |
