    Artist description
A gentle mound of clean white feathers covering rusted barbed wire wraped tightly around rotting fruit. Groove oriented quartet with emphasis on the softer side of aggression. Very emotional lyrics that are both smooth and sweet then searing. Very solid songwriting with powerful, melodic at times schitsophrenic vocals and pounding guitar, bass & drums. Add a few samples here and there and you will feel docile..

    Artist History
Formed as PAWN in 1999 and residing in Portland, OR, and resurfacing as Docile in 2001 with a devoted following of fans who expect only the best in emotionally charged heavy alternative. With the success of "Supple", Docile is poised to make it's mark as one of the Pacific Northwest's most eloquently subtle alternative metal bands. Docile has been unindated by other local band's to play with them. After recieving nearly unanimous praise from local press and industry insiders, Docile seems poised for local if not national success.

    Press Reviews
""super hero mother fuck" sounds like a killer hit to me" "certainly the best band I've seen at Satyricon on a monday night, probably ever"Ray Woods "Owner Rainforest Records" 11/9/99 Docile "will eventualy get a record contract beacuse they sound like Tool. Thats not to say that they're not creative or interesting. In fact, they rock." "the songs and verses become familiar quickly and then this is easy for any heavy rock fan to enjoy." "Solid dynamic, diverse songwriting" "The lyrics are smart, if not more than a little demented and gloomy, and the instrumental and structural slack factor appears to be nil." "one of the best local heavy rock CD's I've heard in a long time." From a cover story & Feature CD of the month review by Chris Gattman, Editor in Chief of JAM Magazine. Aug. 2000
