Artist History Julia Sage is the creative force behind VelvetAngel, the band (http://www.velvetangel.com). She's been surrounded by music her whole life, fronting several bands throughout the years. However, VelvetAngel is her first seriously involved project, and the one that has advanced the most under her influence.She started writing her own music as soon as she picked up a guitar for the first time, and been singing for even longer.Her voice is a combination of honey and spice, with velvety touches to it, and her music is something anyone can feel identified with, since human emotions are the basic theme of her songs.
