Artist History Dear,visitors to our web site!AMERICAN SHORT HAIR is a band united in 1999 at Tokyo ,by akira and hiroki.For several years ago, they have acted mainly in Tokyo and yokohama.And from their site,they send their cool songs and hot messages.�@AKIRA, my close friend and the teacher of the art of the life,a talented producer and a composer ,not only plays the electric base guitars and guitars ,but also synths or hundle with akai samplers skillfuly. I think his senses and skills of the rhythem reach to the fields of the art .HIROKI, my older brother,with the gift of the melodey maker,is a also out -standing composer.And his synths plays and programmings are too inspiered by jouney to the over seaslike Uzubekistan ,Egypt,Spain,Porutogual,Russia,and other Europe countories or japanese cities like kyoto,nara,kamakura and okinawa.So he is always on the road or on the railways. This is the reason why I have always the difficulties and the great pacience to find out him or to contact with him.He love the works of Herman Hesse , John cassavetese, Jack Keruack, Yukio Mishima,George Ohsawa and Gurdjieff.Anyway he always think about next adventure(off course musical one!) .He always saids to me that "his one of the reasons to be"is create the cataloges of "his songs on the road" allthrough the rest of his life.
