Press Reviews
“Alan’s sound escapes easy classification. As often as not, just one of Alan’s songs can veer from gentle acoustic-based, atmospheric to driving guitar rock while throwing a few elaborate – damn near classical – phrases into the swirl.” - Colin Maycock @ The Fort Worth Weekly
This little EP is mysterious. The most potent song, 'Sigh', could be a truly dynamic single. College radio would eat it up. It is one sonically charged orchestral emotion. The vocals are both haunted and alien, as well as the string arrangements. They all blend in a hypnotic wonder driven by rock guitars and hard drums. It's like sleeping on a space ship that's out of control and tumbling. People could become lost in this music. Able to soak in it for days. - ShutEye Records
“…every member of the band was energetic, playing with both soul and enthusiasm on every song…Alan has found a unique sound, and when combined with their incredible talent, certainly makes them a venerable band for years to come.” - Robin Smith @ http://www.dfw.lifeonthenet.com |
