    Artist History
The band that you have been waiting for is finally here. Welcome to the world of Uncle Slick, the band with a strong Blues influence. Uncle Slick gives credit to the likes of Johnny Lang, Blues Brothers and Blues Traveler. The main focus of the band is to bring music back to the basics, while leaving out the hype. "The band was tired of music based on the appearance of a band rather than the bands actual talent and musical ability. That's why we looked for musicians that were ready to give back to the music world what it's been missing for so long," says the drummer and co-founder of Uncle Slick, Matt Paul.

    Press Reviews
"In 3 years they will be one of the biggest bands around. Say good-bye to Dave Matthews Band and Hello to Uncle Slick" - Boston Review "Now this is one awesome band you can listen to over and over. Every day I am heading over to work I pop their CD in and my grumpy 6:00 in the morning mood goes away. Out of the 4 songs I heard from them I have the feeling they will be one of the biggest bands to rock the airwaves. I am proud to put there music on our station." - Jeffery Harrison, President of PirateRock.net "This is one awesome band right when I popped the cd in my player it was electrifying I just love this band." - Bobby Ricoh, Morning Host of PirateRock.net "After listening to their songs once I had already decided that I liked it. Of course this prompted me to listen a few more times. The song has well written lyrical content and is easily relative. The music is tight with a good beat that makes you want to listen and sing along. I give this song very high ratings as a 'must have' and would certainly want to hear more from 'Uncle Slick'." - Michelle, Music Director of PirateRock.net
