    Artist description
We try to mix it up some. Straight blues, surf, rock, and rock and roll (there's a big difference, ya know). Live, our shows are even more varied than what the CD shows, though that's pretty diverse too. Check it out. You'll find something you like in there somewhere!

    Artist History
Many incarnations over many years. Started as "Blues Explosion" in high school with Aaron Binder on drums, Josh Joseph on bass, and Rob Garland on guitar. Then it was pared down to a trio with just Aaron and Josh. Next, Bill Blodgett took over the role of bass player, followed by our late friend Dominic Vigliotti who we lost to cancer in 1995. While Dominic was still with us, we made a change in drummers from Aaron Binder to Jim Ralston, now formally of Baaba Seth. When Dominic passed, it was time to regroup altogether. Bassist Steve Riggs and drummer Conrad Drennon came in to stink it up some (that's a good thing). The pair had toured extensively with Tom Principato over the previous few years and had always been the East Coast's dynamic duo in the blues circles. Steve left the band in 1997, and our present bassist, Charlie Bell joined on for the fun. As far as I'm concerned, this is the most solid sounding line-up so far. Not to take anything away from the incredible musicians named herein, of course. Charlie and Conrad locked in from day one and can get so deep in the pocket, they come out with lint all over them. You've gotta come see us live to see what I mean since the CD was recorded with a lot of different musicians.
