Artist History
Stryke has been an active listener of hiphop most of his life, but it wasnt until the age of fourteen when he actually began to create music. It started by writing lyrics in a notebook, and battling on the internet from his public library. Eventually, Stryke obtained a computer and began to battle online daily, but strictly with lyrics. As time passed, he bought a microphone and took it to the next level - battling online through audio. Progressing each track, Stryke noticed a drastic improvement in his talent, and a passion for making music growing deep inside. With this happening, Stryke decided it was time to leave the internet hiphop scene, and focus on building his reputation locally. After working for quite a while and saving money, Stryke managed to build a home studio, piece by piece. Stryke also works with an extremely talented group of emcees locally, and does much solo work as well. Between work and school, Stryke is always working on music, performing locally, and trying to build an empire from the ground up. The time is now, and with his mind set, Stryke is set to make some noise. |
