Artist History
Formed in November 1999 by Tony(vocals) and Bev(drums) as a Grunge band they decided to advertise in the local paper for a Guitarist and a Bassist. Garri(Guitar) quickly responded to the Ad and brought with him James(Bass) of whom he was in a band with previously that fell apart. After five practices the sound of Self Destruct had changed from it's Grunge roots to the sound it has today. In March 2000 a 5 track CD was produced and in June 2000 Phil joined the band as the DJ - playing Decks/Samples which sculpted the bands sound further for the better. Then we were joined by Andy on second guitar in August 2000 and in December 2000 we parted with guitarist Garri but it has made us a much better band. |
