    Artist description
The name, Punjab, comes from the mystical character in the movie "ANNIE" (the older one). Punjab, who wears a large white turban, is from India and possesses great, magical powers and infinite wisdom. The band members were intrigued with the concept of this character, and so the band "PUNJAB" was born. Most of PUNJAB's music is original and varies in style and sound. Each song has a story behind it related to one or all of the band members. Their songs are fun and catchy, and have some very interesting lyrics. Their music arrangements are "tight" and their vocal harmonies are "mellow & sweet". PUNJAB's music is fun to listen to and even more fun to dance to. Band members have a fun time performing and their energy and enthusiasm quickly spread to their audiences.
