Artist History Mockradio, formed in 1997 has developed a unique and notable sound. Their material has also given them much deserved attention from magazines, record companies and their fans.Mockradio gained a lot of exposure with their success here on MP3.com while under the name "Breed". The song "Listen" reached number 1 within the alternative genre and remained there for over two months back in 1999 with over 20,000 downloads. The songs "The Room" and "Happy Again" also reached 3 and 5 respectively. This has resulted in approaches from magazines and record companies both in Australia and in the US and has lead to the push to create their current 12 track LP "Any Day Now".The band has already managed to achieve a worldwide following with sales of their demo CD "Happy Again" being sold in the US, Germany, Australia and the UK via the internet. Support for the band has also come from hundreds of emails from fans worldwide. Mockradio's new CD "Any Day Now" has already generated interest from record companies in Nashville, LA, New York and Australia. Several prominent industry magazines have, or are featuring Mockradio as an unsigned band to reckon with.Their new CD "Any Day Now" has been produced by the ARIA (Australia Record Industry Awards) nominated Australian producer Gary Ridge. The new 12 track LP demonstrates a solid direction in its' stylistic blend of ideas and strong messages.
