Artist History Barry Westman and Mark Curran met in 1976 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania and worked on each other's demo projects until 1982, when Curran approached Westman with the idea of doing an concept album about the Middle Ages. Both musicians had recorded with their own respective groups for years, but joined forces for what was to become their premier recording project, "Medieval Moods," a 90 minute "epic" story album that tells the story of experiences prior to the discovery of the New World.
