Artist History Having achieved their full musical potential in their native repulic of Puffinnia, the ensemble relocated briefly to the US to gather further inspiation. The years in the US proved distinctly rewarding. The group played in several states around the country, and even received the coveted bronze medallion in a music competition at a large public university. Eventually, the members of the group decided to retreat to remote corners of the globe. Gudrun and Drew moved away to the seductively quiet country of Sweden. Magda left to seek her fortunes in the green and grey expanses of Poland, eventually settling in the beautiful and ancient city of Kraków. Celia's fortune lies in the new world, where she seeks to bring comfort to travellers from other lands as they contend with the opportunites and pitfalls epidemic in the United States. ...One might say that this digital presence is a sort of can of sterno over which Mancini Cherry is kept warm while the next chapter is waiting to be written. Group Members Gudrun sings and plays trumpet, glockenspiel and clave. Magda plays the drums and is a very talented tap dancer. Celia plays the electric cello and electric bass, and contributes with occasional spirited finger snapping. Drew twangs away on his guitar and plays the guiero with more suggestive gusto than most.
