Artist description
Gerald Music is a reinvented genre It's band members have strayed off the beaten path and wandered into new musical territory explored by pioneering bands such as "Morcheeba" and "The sea and cake." The music is a combination of urban and funk rhythms driven by drummer Rylee Mills and bassist Scott Bell. Melodies reminiscent of 60's Brit pop with Jazz overtones are swirled together by guitarists Stephen Kesler and Josh Emery. ÊKeyboardist Jeff Juip adds a sovereign sound that the music could not survive without. And, vocals by Mandy Marinos and Stina Petersen (who also plays flute in the band) breathe soulful sounds which add to GeraldÕs sentiment and beauty. Together it's a sound that can't be categorized. It's like nothing youÕve ever heard, and it's everything you should be listening to. Gerald Music, do you hear it? |
