    Artist History
I began playing surf music in the early 60's in a band called "The New Dimensions", in Hollywood Ca. where I was born and raised. The lead guitar wasf Michael LLoyd who went on to be a well known producer. The keyboard player was Jimmy Greenspoon who went on to help found and still plays with "Three Dog Night". Around l967 I teamed up with Denis Lambert to form the acoustic duo "Lambert & Nuttycombe". We were signed to A&M records by Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss when A&M was a brand new label. Our first album released in l970 was titled "At Home" and produced by Glyn Johns, David Anderle, and Chad Stuart (Chad and Jeremy). This album featured just our two guitars and two voices. In l972 Lambert & Nuttycombe released another album on 20th Century records titled "As You Will". This album was produced by Keith Olsen(producer of Fleetwood Mac) and featured the talents of Waddy Wachtel and Lindsy Buckingham. In l978 I recorded a solo album for A&M titled "It's Just A Lifetime", produced by Glyn Johns and Andy Fairweather Low. This album was recorded in England and featured the talents of Georgie Fame, Henry Spinitti, David Pegg, and Andy Fairweather Low. I left the music scene in l979 and went to live and work on a ranch for a few years before settling in the San Luis Obispo, Ca. area in l983. Since that time I have recorded and release three CD's locally. "My Own Beat" a collection of seven originals and three covers featuring some of San Luis Obispo's best players, "Planetorial Janitor" which features my voice, guitar, and the percussion of Brent Lewis (Earth Tribe Rhythms), and most recently "Get It Done" which again features the talent of some of the best players on the central coast. My current CD's have been released in Japan and the Lambert and Nuttycombe albums as well as my solo A&M album fro l978 may be reissued in Japan soon.
