    Artist History
    Andres Laprida, a virtuoso in his own right, is not only a Brazilian-World Jazz guitarist, but he is an exciting performer, composer, arranger and producer. He was introduced to the public at a very early age by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes. In addition to participating in numerous recordings from many internationally renowned artists, he has composed soundtracks for film and advertising. His international experience includes concerts in Argentina, Norway, Italy, France, Brazil, Canada and the United States. Andres Laprida is a talent and a presence that makes one stand up and take notice. So spectacular!

    Ah! This voice! Robin Hackett. A singer-songwriter out of New York City. She has been compared to Sarah Vaughn, Nina Simone, and Joni Mitchell. Robin recently was a performer in the world famous JVC Jazz Festival in New York City and last year was chosen to compete in the Lilith Fair Tour. She has opened up for Woodstock legend Richie Havens and Elektra recording artist Keb Mo. Her first solo CD was released in 1999 on MP3.com. By the end of the year her song "Sayin Goodbye" was chosen as the #1 Smooth Jazz song for 1999. She ranked #7 on the Rollingstone.com charts among other notables such as K.D. Lang, The Indigo Girls, and Emmylou Harris. Robin was featured on CNBC television and mostly recently was featured in Acoustic Guitar Magazine, PC Magazine, and Mac World Magazine.
