Press Reviews
Reviews of Chloe's songwriting include this one from south Florida's JAM Magazine: "Chloe's tape seems to be bucking the Lilith Rock trend of Alanis/Fiona rich kid waifs bearing their young, confused souls at the piano. First off the differences: since Chloe performs her minimalist pop tunes on multi-tracked synths, but more importantly, her work shows more depth and maturity...rather than some weak-eared pubescent whining. ...A clever crossover with plenty of mainstream potential." and this from Shock Value Music Webzine: "Chloe’s lyrics are poetry put to music, a far cry from mainstream pop’s empty words. Her music is modern, distinctive, and original. Mind candy is a welcome change in this business." |
