Artist description Roy Swedeen - Artist, Producer, Multi-instrumentalist His music runs the gamut from rock to jazz and every where in between. Whether he’s producing with the infamous Kim Fowley, in the studio with The Tornadoes, or playing on soundtracks (Tumbleweeds/Mystery Alaska), you can hear his many influences come through. On his new Solo C.D. ("Out Of Hand") he plays 90 percent of all the tracks (Vocals, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards), while leaving space for special guest artists appearances by such friends as Armen Chakamkian (Shadow Fax) on Piano, Danney Alkana (Rock The Bach) on guitar, Chet Smith on Trumpet and Bobby Weekend on Hammond B3. His ear for weaving intricate melodies over a wide range of styles is never dull. Fueled by passion, and a conviction to his art, "Out Of Hand" is something to reckon with. A dash of Jazz, a pinch of alternative, one part vocal and two parts instrumental, make for an enticing concoction. Have a taste; I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
