    Artist History
Since the lauded debut CD, "5 Shakes 7 Spirits"was released in Nov. 1998, MuleBone has become one of the most successful rock bands to emerge from the Big Easy since the likes of Better Than Ezra and Cowboy Mouth. The CD was recorded at Daniel Lanois? notorious Kingsway Studios in New Orleans with John Gros producing and Kingsway resident engineer/producer Ethan Allen (Ani DiFranco and Better Than Ezra). "5 Shakes 7 Spirits" displays the band as a group of serious players packing a punch of musicianship that enables them to cross over from an organized song oriented mode into a jam-rock band within their live show. The result is the band that New Orleans is talking about.... MuleBone.
