Artist History
Rock icon Michael Bruce is a founding member of the Alice Cooper Group(Michael Bruce, Glen Buxton, Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith) .Michael played guitar, doubled on keys and was one of the group's primary songwriters. Michael wrote or co-wrote such incredible anthems as; I'M EIGHTEEN, IS IT MY BODY, UNDER MY WHEELS, BE MY LOVER, SCHOOL'S OUT, ELECTED, NO MORE MR. NICE GUY, BILLION DOLLAR BABIES, MUSCLE OF LOVE, to name a few. BILLION DOLLAR BABIES, the band's sixth record went to number 1 in 1973 and solidified the group's place in rock and roll history accompanied by the most outrageous and expensive tour of the time. Exhausted from touring non-stop for four solid years, the group disbanded after a brief tour in support of their final release 'Muscle of Love'. 25 years later in October of 1999, the Cooper boys reunited once more to honor guitarist Glen Buxton who died in 1997.In 1977, Michael, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith formed the core of the Billion Dollar Babies who released one album, 'BATTLE AXE'. TOO YOUNG originally appeared on that record and was written as a tongue-in-cheek prelude to the Cooper hit I'M EIGHTEEN. TOO YOUNG 2000 is Michael's updated version of the song. More previously unreleased treasures will follow so bookmark this site and visit often. Our hats are off to this rock legend! |

Press Reviews
Alice Cooper should be begging, pleading and anything else necessary to get Michael Bruce to work with him again. Bring back Neil and Dennis too. RIP GB |
